Heaton Peak™ 40 Tall Sleeping Bag is rated 1.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very Disappointed in Quality and Cases I needed rectangular bags that could zip together to form double bag to replace old ones - the zipping into a double bag worked well, but the quality is poor. One gentle use sleeping on a mattress in a cabin, and the stitching on the zippers came apart! ... so now I have to re-sew the zippers to the sleeping bag. Most annoying part though is that the bag cases are too small to stuff the bags back into - there is a label section that you rip off to expose an expanded gusset, and I initially thought this was a great idea to save space on shipping with the bags super compressed and then allowing for an expanded case for normal use, BUT, even after the expansion, it is an incredible struggle to roll and compress the bags to fit back into the cases - in fact, with two people working together on the roll and compression, we have not yet succeeded in getting the bags back into the cases all the way. I have 40 years of experience with rolling up sleeping bags tightly and have never seen such a ridiculous bag case. I am now making my own cases to fit the sleeping bags, with compression straps, etc.
