More comfortable than sleeping bag on ground
Very compact, comfortable at first but slowly leaks air during the night and you end up sleeping on rails. Going to contact company for possible replacement of air mattress. Otherwise very portable and easily fits in average car, don’t need a truck to transport. Easily moved by one person. Would only recommend if mattress can be replaced .

Finally off the ground!
We were tired of having to roll off our air mattress onto the ground in the morning. This gets us off the ground and let’s us sit, rather than squat, when we sit on it to get dressed and put our shoes on. Plus you can put stuff underneath it.

Ditch the mattress, keep the cot
Based on reviews I have read from other customers, i was expecting the stock air mattress to be below most peoples standards. I use this cot while tent camping, one night sleeping on the stock air mattress was enough to never want to try it again. The cot conveniently comes with a small battery operated air pump which seems great until you realize that no there is no seal, as soon as you remove the pump (which you literally hold in place, it does not lock at all) WOOOOOOOSHHHHH try not to get blown away by the air flying out of that mattress. A feature i can truly appreciate that this cot/air mattress combo has would be the collapsing side tables, my favorite feature by far. Store a bottle of water by the bedside, a small flashlight, a phone perhaps, whatever floats your boat but yes very convenient to have some storage right at the bedside. All in all i still use the cot, intex air mattress on top instead of the stock mattress. The stock mattress I keep in the bag and have used on occasion for my stepdaughter when she joins her mom and I on a weekend camping trip only because she weighs less than 100 lbs

Solid bed but needs this trick
Our neighbors recommended this bed, have had one for years and just purchase a replacement. My wife and I have used ours for 4 years and hated it the first time we used it for several of the negative reasons already posted. Here is what changed it for us. We slipped two closed cell foam pads between the mattress and slip cover (my old Army green pads). Then my wife puts down a quilt, queen fitted sheet then the flat sheet. The pads and quilt firm up the bed and quiet the noise significantly. We sleep warm and comfortably during our camping trips.

Good product, decent price
The good:
After the first three nights I'm impressed.
The cot itself is well designed and quite sturdy. The air mattress held air well and has a clever valve design.
Those are obviously the two most important features and they succeed. Far superior to those 16" high air mattresses I might add.
The bad:
It's somewhere between a queen and full/double at 57x77, not true queen.
The pump is D-Size battery only; skimping by not providing a pump that can be battery-operated or plugged in is obnoxious.
The bag design sucks; the bottom is semi rigid but it would work much better with a more solid base. The zipper orientation also makes symmetrical loading less easy - when the bag is laid with the wheels down the zipper should be on the top, not side.
All in all though I would buy again and would recommend.

Don't waste your money
My wife and I used this Coleman Camping Cot, Air Mattress for our trip, just after 1 use it doesn't stay inflated. It doesn't snap in place so the cot never get secured. It really was a huge dissapointment.

Great to be off of the floor of the tent
We have enjoyed the airbed cot. It is great to be off of the ground and the airbed is comfortable. It is relatively easy to use but did not come with instructions for the cot itself, the best way to store the air mattress nor how to attach the two side tables or. The air pump is a little flimsy and not very powerful but it does get the job done and the cot legs do not have a locking mechanism. We are happy with the purchase despite the drawbacks.

Cot great but mattress leaks
The cot is great that it keeps a person off the ground but the mattress is no better than any of the cheap ones. It constantly leaks like all the other brands I’ve purchased throughout the years. Maybe one day, someone will invent one that really is worth the money that is charged.

Too expensive for the quality
I was extremely disappointed with this cot. My husband and I own five different Coleman camping products and pleased with all, but this one. The first night ever using it, it leaked air so much, we ended up pressed against the metal bars beneath the mattress. My husband has never found a leak to be patched, but it still doesn’t hold air. If it would hold, I would love it.

So comfy
We have used this bed a few times and it is super comfy! It is so easy to put up! My only complaint would be that I wish the top cover that holds the air mattress in place was able to come off the cot frame itself so that it can be washed!

Better than the ground!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have used this cot on one camping trip so far. Was easy to set up and get ready to use. The air pump is a bit weak so we could not get the mattress as full as we wanted. Due to temperature changes etc we had to top it off one time but it was ok. The mattress was comfortable and much preferred over the ground. Keep in mind, if it’s cold, then you will be cold sleeping on the mattress. We ended up putting s wool blanket in the mattress first and then made the bed. Much better, nice and warm and comfortable.

does not hold air
This sounded like an excellent idea, however, it would not stay inflated. I bought it to go camping and it deflated every night. We woke up with the hard metal bars jammed in our backs. Would not recommend.

Not worth the money
We bought this cot for our 3 week vacation. Our 40 pound 6 year old sleeps on it nightly. After the first week, It has to be refilled with air everyday. I would not recommend buying this for extended use.

Great product
All the people reviewing as poor because the mattress leaks, well they need to read the instructions and the tag on the item itself. It says that air leakage is normal. I have not had any problems with the item. It is comfortable and well made.

There’s got to be better
This is so uncomfortable there are no words. I’m not sure why people are saying they can’t feel support bars/straps because it was all I felt. The ground would have been more comfortable. The air pump is whimpy and the design of it is whimsical. You have to sit there and hold the pump attachment to the air mattress when you’d think that they’d make it to fit inside of the air mattress nozzle so needless to say you’re holding the pump there for a good five minutes. So prehistoric. It only inflates the bed to a state where someone that was 90-100 lbs might not sink into the frame but someone heavier, most certainly would. At a certain fill rate the pump starts to make a noise where you can tell there’s more pressure in the mattress than the pump is able to put out so you end up with a 70% (at best) inflated mattress. I’m so disappointed in this and I bought two of them. Waste of money.

Nice to be off the ground
Loses air and needs to be re-inflated almost every night. Ours has the plug so once finished filling it does not lose the air just put in. Also very, very noisy. It constantly sqeeks loudly which wakes us up when one moves. Like being off the ground... hate the noise and the continual re-inflation. Need to purchase a different mattress to use it. Coleman quality definitely gone down

Mattress is junk
I am 65 years old and have been a big fan of Coleman products all my life...until now... The cot it self is great and reliable,, the Mattress is in a league of its own.. what a major piece of junk.. leaks almost as fast as you can fill it.. never in my life have i seen anything like it.. I do not recommend this bed to anyone..

Second one
We love to go camping! We have three boys in scouts so we camp a lot. I had the same product before. I was excited to get another one. We have the comfort of being off the ground with the cot and the added air mattress help. A nice set of flannel sheets and it home away from home. Thank you Coleman.

Disappointed by Low Quality
Poor quality. I opened the box at the campsite, it came with a ripped cover and an air mattress that had a hole in it; why weren't these things caught by quality control? As far as the materials; the storage cover is made of thin material and will tear easily, the mattress cover is cheap material, the air mattress is chinsy and the air pump is pitifully weak. I had to buy a replacement air mattress but ended up blowing it myself since the Coleman pump with new batteries couldn't handle a full inflation. There are no braces to keep it locked in place or at least I didn't see them, it doesn't seem to come with a manual. I mean why not include quality materials and charge a couple dollars more? Its a great concept but really cheaply made, overall I'm pretty disappointed.

Haven't slept on it yet
I bought this for a temporary sleeping situation. I got it all spread out - ready to fill and sleep on it yesterday and the hose on the 120V 2.5-PSI Pump, that I also bought from Coleman, broke right in the middle rendering it useless.

Air mattress leaks after 2 uses
Great idea, keeping the airbed off the floor. You would think that would make air leaks less likely especially since the mattress zips into a cloth sleeve. Our are mattress is leaking after 2 uses.

Does frame lock into place?
So far I've only done a test setup in my courtyard. And not with mattress yet (need to get batteries!) But I'm concerned, as the frame doesn't seem to lock into place. I tried pressing on the center, and looked all around for some kind of mechanism, but couldn't find one. Oddly, there were instructions for both pump and mattress, neither of which i need, yet none for the cot itself, which I'm wishing for.
Review might go up or down once i can test the rest.

Superb frame
I have had this air bed cot for many years and love the fact that I don’t have crawl out of a ground level air mattress which for a 72 year old is quit difficult. My problem is that after years of use, some f the foot pads have broken off and all I have are mettle rods sticking into the bottom of the tent. I was wondering if there is any way to purchase replacement foot pads. I would have given 5 star review if the pads didn’t break.

How does one person open this thing?
Without any locks, I don't know how one person opens the otherwise sturdy frame without going crazy. It's almost impossible to get both sides open far enough at the same time to get it right side up before it snaps closed again. Each time I do it, it's some different way and I succeed by pure luck. Once it is open, it's great, or maybe I just feel that because I'm just relieved I got the frame open somehow. :-)

Very comfortable
My wife and I have been using this cot for about two years now. Recently on an 11 day trip along the BlueRidge Parkway. This cot is the reason we are still tent camping! It is VERY comfortable, relatively easy to set up and durable. We replaced the air mattress recently but only after many camping trips!
