Keeps food and drinks cold for hours
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This handy Coleman cooler has really been a great addition to my weekend trips to the ball fields. The size is one of the best features, combined with the ergonomic handle to carry it with. The insulation of the cooler is also impressive, and keeps my drinks and food cold for the whole day out. Growing up, I frequently used Coleman products; this cooler is another testament to how dependable the Coleman brand is. I’m looking forward to using this cooler on many more outings and trips alike.

Nice cooler
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a nice cooler. Perfect size for a little trip and keeps everything nice and cold. I really like the lock on it, that way you always know the lid is closed and tight. The handle is pretty sturdy too. Yes it gets heavy when full but that’s to be expected. Overall really nice cooler when you don’t need something huge.

Durable but underperforming
Have to give 1 star for cooler performance. Build quality would be higher but it is the worst performing cooler I own.
This is very well built, it is a pleasing design. The latch is easy to operate, smooth and feels like it will last a long time. The latch is the best feature of this cooler.
The issue though is the side tie down points. There doesn’t appear to be any insulation in those locations due to the recessed design. The plastic and the metal bars are actually cold to the touch so it is leaching cold from inside the cooler. There is also a cool touch to the lip of the cooler too. The gasket doesn’t appear to be sufficient.
The handle is completely flush with all surfaces when in the down position. If the cooler is at arms length away from you (for example in the bed of a truck or backseat) there is nothing to grab onto and the handle is awkward to lift away from the cooler while at a distance. The tie down points on the side are too small to get fingers under even for petite fingers.
I’m extremely disappointed in the performance of this cooler. I really wanted to like this but it doesn’t hold ice for more than a half a day in a temperature controlled environment. All I put in this was ice, there were no contents for the ice to cool down, it just had to maintain ice and couldn’t do that through a shift.

Fantastic Yak cooler
Fantastic cooler for packing out drinks and snacks for a day out my kayak. It fits right behind my seat and is super easy to access through the single latch. Feels quite durable...much nicer than what I've experienced with Coleman coolers of the past. Oh!...the handle folds into the lid and doesn't get in the way during opening and closing...brilliant!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This cooler is perfect for road trips or solo trip to the river or pool. It hold ice great and last a very long time! The lid locks so if it falls over it won’t open and everything is still secure inside. The mayoral is thick and durable even so much I can sit on the cooler when it’s closed and not be concerned about the inner walls and material being damaged! It holds about 8 cans and 8 bottles of water a few Gatorades so it’s great for a couple or small family!!

Must Have!!!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We got this cooler for something a little more sturdy for all the road trips we take (usually 5+ hours) each way. We wanted something that will keep our food cold, my child's milk cold, as well as have space for other drinks we need for the trip. BUT also something that would keep getting squished down and we could stack stuff on top. This cooler does just that! The locking tab and the rubber seal is AWESOME!! Plus the feel of the cooler is just great.

Perfect Size Cooler
Cooler holds just the right amount of ice and beer for the lake or to take with you to a tailgate or friends bbq. Ice retention far exceeds my needs. The best thing about this cooler is that it is lightweight and easy to carry. The rubber feet and handle are genius. It doesn’t slide around in the back of my truck or inside the cab when it’s sitting on the floor. Holds about a 12-18 pack with ice perfectly. Solid build and perfect size for poolside accessibility. Very happy with this purchase.

Durable and keeps items colder for longer

Goldilocks Cooler
Love this cooler! Perfect size for a roadtrip. This cooler is big enough to fit my wife & I’s food and drink for more than a day trip, but also just small enough to comfortably fit in my car with the rest of our belongings. It’s also very sturdy, so I bring it to work on a delivery truck and it holds up well. I’m not worried about it getting beat up. You definitely get your money’s worth.

Love it worth every penny!
Love it, I work on job sites and use it daily. I’ll have this one for years. Get compliments from people everyday. Engel is a big seller to guys on jobsites, we all sit on our coolers to eat lunch. The Engel cooler tops are all broken from sitting on. Mine is sturdy so it’s multi use is important. Also took it on a road trip after 6 hours not a single ice cube had melted.

This is a perfect cooler

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This cooler is perfect for a variety of occasions like a hard day at the worksite to a camping trip in the mountains. The hard, outer shell feels very durable and capable of handling intense use. It can support up to 300 pounds and has a flat top, so it’s perfect for a chair, or something to write on. The rubber boots look like they will last a while and help keep it secure with travel. It even has places to tie it down if needed.
After several uses I’m very happy with how cold it keeps my drinks. It has technology called TempLock FX so it has an insulated body and lid. The latch feels very secure. Also, it has an antimicrobial treatment to help protect it from bacteria. It has a thick, sturdy handle making it easy to carry. The color scheme is nice, and at 17 qt I can hold over a dozen cans if needed. If you’re often on the go for work and or fun and need a reliable cooler that not only looks good but works great, I highly recommend this!
