Rated 5 out of 5 by Mariner553 from I Mantle Naphtha Lantern We live in the Canadian Arctic and use the land to hunt and fish a lot. Power outages are common. From many years of experience with Coleman Products the opportunity to purchase 3 Lanterns for my children for Christmas I couldn't turn down. The kids have their own housing units so I also included a 4 D Cell Coleman Battery with each lantern. This allows them to get set up. The lanterns are compact, efficient, economical and easy to use. Mantles and fuel are available at all Canadian Tire Stores and most hunting stores. The fuel is fairly cheap Next year the brood gets 2 Burner Naphtha Stoves so both appliances run on the same fuel. In the Arctic the Govt. subsidizes it. I would recommend getting a Coleman Lantern Container if you travel on an ATV or Snow Mobile. The Canadian Army uses Coleman.
