Description
La lanterne à DEL Coleman 600 lumens avec BatteryGuard arrête la décharge afin que vous ayez de l’éclairage quand vous en avez besoin. Les lanternes à piles conventionnelles consomment de l’énergie résiduelle tant que les piles sont branchées au circuit, même quand l’appareil est éteint. Avec la technologie BatteryGuard, les piles sont automatiquement débranchées du circuit quand la lanterne est éteinte, ce qui prolonge leur vie jusqu’à 25 %. Cette technologie réduit aussi les risques de dommage par la corrosion afin que les piles puissent rester dans l’appareil pendant des années (jusqu’à leur date d’expiration). Les autres fonctions sont : interrupteur simple, jusqu’à 30 heures de fonctionnement avec 3 piles D (vendues séparément), étanchéité, résistance aux impacts jusqu’à 2 m (sur la terre) et des ampoules à DEL qui n’auront jamais à être remplacées. Peu importe la situation, des pannes d’électricité aux urgences sur le toute, cette lanterne BatteryGuard avec un faisceau de 7 m vous fournit de la puissance quand vous avez besoin.

Very nice lantern but disappointing switch problem
I have had this lantern a couple of years in my pop-up camper, which gets limited use in a year, especially in 2020. I also keep it in my home ready to use in case of a power outage. It has worked well and I've been quite happy with it, but it suddenly stopped working recently for no obvious reason. I have traced the problem to a faulty switch. The round dial that controls the switch comes off and, when I put it back in place, it usually fails to turn on the lantern. Once in a while it turns on, but I have to fiddle with it quite a bit to get either the low beam or high beam. Too bad since the lantern has had such limited use and is in practically new condition.

On off knob is very poor quality. Lamps useless
I bought three of these lanterns. One after another the on-off knobs on the top began snapping off. The underside of the knobs has almost no support material so these seem designed to fail, or it is an elementary design mistake which is completely inexcusable.

Very disappointed
Only used this two times during power outages. As I am preparing for an upcoming storm, turned the knob to be sure batteries are good and the knob broke! Upon reading the reviews I see this is a common issue. I believed colmans to be quality. Sadly proven wrong. Unfortunate as the lantern itself provided great light.

Broken Knob
Bought this in 2020. Worked great up until last week when the knob inexplicably broke while camping. Examining the knob reveals poor craftsmanship as the knob's plastic became weak and brittle despite basic and reasonable use. The most annoying thing is that this occurred outside of Coleman's 3 year warranty. The Coleman brand used to mean something, but the name means nothing now as they have their products cheaply made overseas like most other brands. I will shop elsewhere for my camping needs.

Broken knob, DO NOT BUY!
On/off knob broke completely off after only two camping trips. Totally ridiculous from a company like coleman. They used to be my go-to camping supplier, not anymore.

Stopped working
Used one year for 3 months - used when I took my dog outside at our cottage. Changed batteries and still doesn't work.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] love this lantern has great light and easy to use. Don't have to worry about having fuel or mantles like my other Coleman lanterns. I always carry it in my car in case I have car trouble at night and need extra light. a quality made lantern. Have used Coleman products for over 60 years

ON-OFF Knob breaks - NOT Recommended
The knob broke on the second use. I have not yet been able to get a replacement. Finding the part on their website is impossible.
DO NOT PURCHASE ANY OF THESE LANTERNS!!
I'm throwing this one out, yet another landfill stuffer.
