Super bright!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is great to leave in our emergency bag in our tornado shelter. The light is small, but extremely bright! It’s easy to store and doesn’t take up much room. It takes batteries, which I love because it’s easier to swap out new batteries than to charge it in our shelter. 100% recommend!

Bright little light!

I use it sometimes walking my dog at night or just out in my garage. I cant wait to take it camping with us. Its a powerful light and I highly recommend it!

Great lantern!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love this Coleman Classic Lantern Blue Lights. It has 2 brightness options and it is a great size for putting anywhere. The hanger on top is perfect for hanging on small hooks inside my tent. A must try for camping lovers!

Fantastic light!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using this in my backyard at night, and it's fantastic. Two modes of brightness, easy to use, easy to place either hanging off something or right on a surface. Definitely will be taking this camping with me in the future!

CLASSIC 300L LANTERN BLUE
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What a great latern. Small in size, but big in lighting. Is great for the tent, or sitting out a night. This little light works great - nice and bright, but not big and bulky for our camping trips. Very durable

Not that good.
First one I bought was DOA, however Coleman being an awesome company replaced it without much trouble, a phone call and a email worked. Coleman gets an A+ rating from me a business. That being said this lantern isn't too good.
For one mine won't work 100% with rechargeable batteries, which is what I'd like to use. Works fine with regular AA's, but not my rechargeables.
Second, this being an LED and computer chip controlled I think they should have offered more than two modes. It needs something intermediate that would let it run for 8-10hrs or more. As it is, the choices are 50lumens(35hrs/RT) or 300(4.5hr/RT). Be nice to have something in-between. However I would say light output is adequate in both modes. Maybe I'm being picky, but how hard could it be to program another mode?
Third, The lantern is a nice design. It's cute and reasonably small. I do find the hanging hook to be a little concerning. I'd rather see a bail hand, which would make it more secure if you hang it from something.
Would I recommend this product? Good question. I can see where this fits in, but it's not for a serious camper whos going to be out for days.
