Nice cooler
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My family spends a lot of time in the outdoors from camping, hunting, and fishing and this cooler has been so handy to have. It fits perfectly on our boat, truck, and UTV. It appears to be very sturdy,durable and well made. It will hold at least 100 cans of your favorite drink. The top has 4 cup holders and measuring stick engraved which is especially nice when your out for a day of fishing. This cooler keeps everything cold for hours even on the hottest of days.

Made in the USA!
Our first camping trip this spring for 5 days. The label says 6 days. Temps were high in low 70's, lows in the 40's. And we came home with ice. Great job.
I froze about 15 pounds of meat in ziplocks, and placed in plastic cereal boxed shaped containers. and put two gallons of frozen ice jugs. With about 24 cans and condiments.
We came home with a golf ball sized ice cube in the gallon jugs, and cold meat! One more gallon of ice and it would have made 6 days, no doubt.
This is the best way to not have a cooler full of melted ice and your food swimming???

Not practical for extreme heat.
The label says the ice chest will stay cold for up to 6 days. In Central Texas it last about 8 hours until the ice is totally melted. This was a huge waste of money.

Love This!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Coleman COOLER 70QT 5871 BLUN/WHT/BLUN C001 is great. It fits everything we need when we go camping without taking multiple coolers. I put some ice packs and a bag of ice in it and it stayed cold for a long time. The only drawback to this cooler is that it is not on wheels do it's a bit heavy to carry

Great cooler
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have a lot of family gatherings and a big chest like this comes in handy. It’s so easy to just put the drinks in this outside to prohibit people from opening the fridge over and over again. It put the ice in hours ahead of time and the drinks stay cold well into the evening. It can even double as seating for a few kids to rest on. Love the draining spout so we don’t have standing water sitting around. Handles are sturdy for transporting around. Great cooler.

I have used coleman brand over the years with no problem, until I bought 2 of the hard plastic ice chests. The ice starts to melt within the first hour. If I use rock salt then I can't use the ice for my cup. Worse coleman product I have ever owned. Go back to metal.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Coleman cooler has a nice navy blue color with cup holders on the lid. I love the navy color. This cooler was able to keep ice for over 24 hours on a hot deck and even started out with warm drinks in it. I would recommend this cooler based on how fast it got my warm drinks cool and how long it was able to sustain ice and freezing cold drinks. This cooler is light weight and holds a lot of bottles or cans, but seems steady and is durable.

Great at first
Worked great the couple times we used it last summer. Put it away for the winter with nothing on top of it and the lid completely warped. Cooler is not junk and won’t shut! Very disappointed. Complete waste of money!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This cooler is awesome it’s huge and the perfect size for parties or camping it has cup holders on the top and has a ruler on the top where you can measure things I’m assuming fish when you go fishing it’s 70 quart and we love it because my husband drinks a lot of Mountain Dew and he keeps it in his truck it keeps them cold all day it stays sealed and works great it’s easy to carry with the handles and looks great would definitely recommend

Highly impressive cooler!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Excellent heavy duty cooler. It is easy to lift and carry without hurting my hands. Holds a ton of items. And while I was sceptical of the claim that it keeps items cold for 5 days....it actually does!! I was super impressed by this! We took a roadtrip, stocked it full of perishable items, and didn't have to add more ice at all. All items were still kept cold! I will be using this for camping, roadtrips, and even for get togethers.

We took it to camping and forgot to take it out of the car for over 3 days lol I was terrified that the trunk was going to be soaked but to my surprise not a single drop was spilt and everything was still kinda cold . We are huge fans great quality design keeps everything cold . Highly recommended

Camping success
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My family goes on a yearly camping trip. It is one of the highlights of our summer. We were looking for a cooler for iur drinks that would keep cold for days as well as hold a fairly large amount of ice and drinks.
Coleman did not let us down! This 70 quart cooler kept our drinks cold all weekend long! I was able to fill it with enough ice and drinks and not have to worry about it during our family trip. It was perfect.

Very "cool" cooler
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this cool thinking it would be the perfect size... And I was right! perfect for taking to the cabin, or to the beach. It didn't keep the ice as long as I thought, but I did pull it out of a warm shed before I used it. I'm sure if it wasn't already warm when I put the ice in it, it would have lasted longer. That was the only down side. I do like the cup holders on the lid as well. Very good product in all.

Always Reliable Coleman
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love Coleman products, rarely am I ever disappointed. This cooler hold ice and heat. I actually used this as a hot box for Thanksgiving and it worked perfectly. I used it the day before Thanksgiving to hold some cold items I didn't have enough room for in my refrigerator and in the morning I still had a fair amount of ice and everything was still cool. This is a good size to have for multiple uses.

Simple cooler that does the job
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a relatively sturdy, lightweight cooler. It will be great for parties or camping/beach trips. It keeps ice cold all day, has a drain hole and 4 cupholders in the lid. It can also double as a seat. The only part that doesn't feel super sturdy are the handles but they are holding up fine for now. I sort of regret not getting one with wheels but that's my fault, not the fault of the cooler.

Disappointing
Bought this for Sturgis trip. Says keeps ice 5 days try 2.5 at best even after first bag cooled unit down and melted in one day after traveling in truck with ac on. Cooler has been in shade the entire time. 22lb bag added sat night is now 75-80% water in 48hrs. CAN’T wait to get home and return it.

Affordable but disappointed
Bought this cooler two weeks ago. Went camping for 5 days, first ice (7 lb bag and 5 frozen solid bottles of water) didn't last through the 2nd day. Temps in the 70's during the day, upper 50's at night, cooler kept in the shade during daytime hours. After day two it was a new 7 lb bag of ice each day. Label says it keeps ice "up to 5 days".....I guess that is possible if you fill up the entire cooler with solid blocks of ice.

Durable and efficient

Perfect insulation!

True to the brand this cooler is super durable and lightweight. We had a refrigerator go out and we were able to save most of our groceries in this cooler. Inexpensive but very good quality cooler

It has a glass or bottle placeholder on each corner of it and I can use the center part as a space to keep eatable items. Absolutely amazing!

In the back of a truck with ice and drinks. Everything was still cold when we left 2 days later and made our trip back home. Left it inside with ice. I love the sleek color, bit obnoxious and bright. And it works so good!

It's a beast
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've never seen a cooler so sturdy. I weigh a pinch over 200 lb and I can sit on it and it doesn't even give. And it truly does keep ice long amounts of time without it melting. The cup holders on top or an added bonus. I would definitely recommend to anyone who goes to the lake or just wants a cooler in their vehicle.

Broken Handle, no replacements
This cooler keeps ice really well, for that I would give 5 stars. I have used it camping and trips to the lake. it kept ice as long as my friends Orca.. The problem is, one of the handles got broken, and I cannot find a replacement for it. Because it is a broken handle, it stays at home and can really only be used around the house, because I cant carry it anywhere.

Perfect for Road Trips, Self-Catering Vacations
We needed a cooler that would keep meals frozen, other foods cold for a multi-day car trip to our vacation rental. The new Coleman 316 was perfect. After 3 days in the car, ice and meals were still frozen on arrival. In fact, the Coleman still had ice 5 days into the vacation. Between performance and reasonable price, this was a perfect purchase for us.
