Check valve failed after 6 months of usage.
We've been using this Coleman hose and adapter with our 5 gallon propane tank for 6 months. As I disconnected it tonight, a ball bearing from the check valve fell out of the adapter.

Affordable conversion to avoid tiny tanks
Read some reviews before I purchased that said they had difficulty getting it to work. They probably shouldn't breed. The one thread is LH, if you can figure that out you are golden. Works great and no more running out of gas mid grill out!

Doesn’t work.
Bought two thinking the first was broken. Neither work. Simply trying to run my 2-burner Coleman propane stove off of a larger propane tank instead of the small (expensive) Coleman canisters. I even replaced the 5430 regulator arm and still nothing

This is an extension hose for the 1 lb bottle so it doesn't hang. This is not an adaptor for a large tank.

Disappointed in the product description
I ordered this hose to accompany my new Coleman grill. The grill uses the small fuel cylinders and I wanted to adapt to the 40 lb. tank. Once I got the grill and hose in I put the grill together and went to hook up the tank but then found out the hose also requires an adapter. If I had known I could have ordered the adapter at the same time. Now I have to try to find another piece.

Just what I needed!
I was given a Roadtrip grill this spring. (I use it nearly every day.) we were spending a lot of money on the small (1lb) cylinders. I decided to get one of these adapter hoses to connect a 20lb cylinder to the grill.
It was a wise purchase. I have saved a ton of cash.
I would definately purchase again!
The end that threads into the tank (20lb) is a left-hand thread

I had to order a additional fitting to use with my 20 lb. propane tank. I would expect it would come ready to attach.
