Hose adaptor works perfectly with my ProCat heater
I was looking for a hook-up to use for my ProCat Acrylic heater (a 20-pound canister) instead of using the 1 pound cylinders due to expense. The Adaptor is perfect and very cost effective.

Wasted my money
Nowhere in the literature on the Roadtrip XLE did it say that a conversion kit was required to use a 5 pound canister. A propane hose was even listed as an accessory in the owners manual. Totally misleading!!!!!

Want to cook great meals in the mountains in your coleman camp stove? Well with this you won't be able to. It has terrible flow, which allows your stove to get enough fuel to barely make a puttering sound.
Was excited to get this but it's been nothing but a pain and disappointment. I can't recommend not getting this more. If this is Coleman's standard then I'm done buying here.
Wouldn't recommend it unless you want to starve.

Ignore Reviews That Say It Doesn’t Work!!!!!
There’s a ton of mechanically declined uninformed people out there that don’t understand the refillable tanks have a flow safety valve. It’s easily tripped when you turn on the main valve too fast! Once tripped it will give a trickle of flow and maybe allow a small flame. If it happens just turn off gas, wait for a click, or even disconnect, than try again by slooowly turning on the tank valve. You’re welcome!

Does not work with my regulator
I connected the hose and the stove would not light. I have gas to the regulator rested by opening the check valve on the regulator connector. I have no gas past the regulator. It works with 1 lb tanks but not with the hose. I believe the stem on the regulator that opens the valve is not long enough for the hose adapted. Second one from two sources that does not work. I’m returning it tomorrow.

Poor Quality
Purchased to compliment Roadtrip Grill. Worked good for 4 days and then spilled it's guts (Safety valve, etc.). I contacted Coleman and associate (Leonard) said I should purchase another one. If I purchase another one, it won't be Coleman brand.

need to remove pressure valve at stove
I'm not sure why Coleman doesn't understand that you must remove the pressure regulator at the grill. The large tanks have a regulator attached and if you don't remove the regulator at the grill you DO NOT get enough pressure at the burners.

The plastic end on the hose is so cheaply made it cuts into your hand while turning into the tank valve. Really disappointing. I had to cover it with tape to be able to use it without it cutting into my hand

Doesn't work
My grill works just fine with the little 1 lb bottles, but won't work with the hose attached to a 20 lb tank. The description states that is all you need to adapt to a larger propane tank.

Does not work with Road Trip grill.
This was supposed to replace little 1 lb cylinders and does not work. Could just be my particular grill. They are working on a solution and have been quite helpful.

Bulky but reliable
