Our Camping Range and Oven
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wore out out first RoadTrip grill, and love our new one even more. We camp often, and the Coleman Grill is our main cooking device. I have the flat grills for breakfast, and the regular grill for other meals, and it gets a real workout...it never fails me, and I get lots of compliments about my cooking.

Great Small Portable Grill
This grill is very portable and cooks well. I had submitted a negative review (2 stars) based on not being able to easily close and latch the cover, but since then I found out that the inner tray (great for catching grease and keeping the interior clean) wasn't seated all the way when I reassembled it. So this is intended to offset that earlier review.

Great for RV Travel
Perfect size and weight to store in Motorcoach bay. Wish it had hooks for grill tools and a second side table. It came with two grills. I was expecting one grill and one griddle. I like the propane hookup location. I can use the 5 lb tanks. I really like how easy it is to pop up and down on the wheels for moving or storing. Good value for the money.

Forget a full size backyard grill
Great little portable grill for on the go barbecues. Why get a huge expensive backyard grill you can't bring with you any where? This has a great solid cast iron grill and runs on standard size Colman propane tanks or get an adapter to run a 20 lbs tank any home. I love this thing use it every other day in the hot summer to keep the house cooler.

Travel Grill Perfection
Great little grill. Fires right up, heats/cooks quickly, very smooth burner output, easy to setup and move. All parts are heavy, high quality. Very light on propane usage, small screw in tank lasts for many meals.
I primarily bought this new one to use at home (right out side my door in cold months) and rest my larger grill when cooking smaller family meals. I love grilling, especially steak and burgers. This cooks faster and uses far less propane. But overall it's an awesome grill and easy pack-up and travel is awesome for camping and other outdoor events.
This is the 2nd RoadTrip grill I've owned. This one is slightly different and updated but the first one was amazing and lasted many years. I think the only reason I ended up tossing it was because I personally ruined it by accidentally melting a large amount of plastic to it after I had already owned it 5 or 6 years. I used that one pretty often, probably at least twice a month.

Great quality!

A mistake
Don’t bother with this grill. At least two major flaws I did not appreciate. The operable towing handle is so flimsy I am reluctant to use it. The water bath required is a huge pain. Additionally, the burner openings are very susceptible to clogging, including spray water from inadvertent filling of the water pan. A mistake to have purchased.

Perfect grill mark

Nice grill

Love this Portable grill!
I have an older model and just love it! I keep it on my back porch. I cook in all kinds of weather! Love the grates and the griddle grate. Easy to regulate just the right amount of gas for cooking meats slow.
The only issue I have is that the writing has worn off where the settings are for the knobs, but I have used this grill hard!

Bought for camping, use at home too.
We use this as our car camping grill and cook stove (with the swap top griddle). After 24 meals on the road, and the unexpected bonus of fitting on our condo balcony for many meals at home, I recommend without reservation. Lights easily, breaks down and sets up on seconds. Keeps your camp table freed up for prep and eating space.

Love the grill but non replaceable drip pans
You need to baby those drip pans and clean after each use. For some reason they won’t sell you replacements and since you need to add water to the pans they rust if not diligent.
Would have a five star but the drip pans are the Achilles heel of the product.
Cast iron grates are awesome and with water added the heat is even.

Perfect for Travel!

Portable grill
The connection for propane is fiddly and easy to cross strip the threads. The lid could be higher up allowing the lid to be closed while cooking some foods. Not sure of the drip pan durability due to the metal being spit thin. Hope it can be replaced easily.
Overall it cooks fine and accept you have a portable , compact grill.

Great Grill
We use this for camping, and I love it! Easily held 8 burgers with room for more. An 11" griddle fit perfectly and made fantastic pancakes and fresh toast. Fried bacon right on the grills. Not much you can't cook on this thing. Lightweight, easy to load, set up and move. It's perfect for camping, tailgating, or day trips.

Durable grill

LOVE THE UPGRADES!
Love some of the upgrades from our Original Coleman received in 2005 from the Price Is Right! Wish it had an additional table on both sides, like the one we currently have but again, love the fact that the propane tank has been moved underneath the unit and the beefed up legs and wheels making it much more durable.

Best portable grill I've ever owned

My Roadtrip is about 10 years old and is still in great condition. I leave it in the garage when it is not on a camping trip.

A camping must!
This grill is a camping must have! It is so easy to use and completely changed our camping experience. The compact nature and versatility of this grill is the best. We also purchased the flat top plates which makes breakfast for camping much simpler. The color is vibrant and exactly what I was looking for.

Portable, but.....

My only issues are cheap wheels, ( one broke off) and the burner settings range from burn to burn fast. So keep an eye on those burgers.

Not up to my expectations
I’ve had this type of grill for years and needed to replace it. My new one isn’t made the same and the grill cover lid does not close all the way when the grill plates are in. So when I cook my food, I can’t close the cover fully. I believe this is either a design flaw or I have a defective unit.

Great for a few weeks
I have only had it for a few weeks and done 3 cooks of a few burgers. The right side burner only lights half way around and not in the center. I shut it down and tried wiping it off but it did the same when I re-lit it. Don't understand why it won't light unless something inside is stopping the gas.

Great Compact Grill!

Very durable

EZ Traveler for a small vehicle...!

Would have been better if both sides worked
The right side of the grill did not light. It was ok we used that side for indirect heat. Also had a hard time locking the lid shut when we were done grilling and putting the grill back in the car. I was disappointed. We bought the grill for tailgating at my sons family weekend football game.
