Description

Lid does not close and lock down for transporting
Lid does not close all the way so you cannot lock it down for travel. Bought straps to lock it down. If I had known this I would have not bought it. I Should have read other people reviews saying the same thing. Coleman has the typical reply on the reviews sorry to hear about your issues.

Always lights but drip pans will go bad quickly
Loved this grill for the first year I had it. Unfortunately even with regular upkeep the drip pans in it have rotted out and gone very bad. What's even worse is that they are not a part that you can purchase as a replacement. Always loved Coleman products but this one let me down a bit.

Great Grill - the is our 2nd one!
The Coleman tailgate grill is a great tool for taking on the road for tailgating, camping, or to a friend's house to an extra cookout grill. I had my first one for 25 years until the plastic base finally broke. This new one has a different designed base and will hopefully last longer.

Perfect to use daily or for wend get aways!!

But i found it works great w/out water also.
And if u put Tinfoil down on the grates it will still line yur meat etc.. with cooking lines! And making clean up alot easier!

Love it!

Cannot get a replacement drip pan for the grill. I bought my wife the coleman road trip x-cursion, and the drip tray is absolute crap. We use it a light to moderate amount. I would not recommend buying this grill especially being as they don't offer replacement parts.

The "take it everywhere grill" !!

Nice and portable

great gril, just clean it well before storing
this is a great grill! it cooks well, easy to pack around, the only negative I have is important to the wife, when stored upright on its wheels, it leaks all the icky drippy stuff into the carrying handle slots... ewww.. other than that its a great grill

Absolutely worth it.
It’s rare I find an item I’m absolutely satisfied with, but this little grill does the trick. It’s light and collapsible, but sturdy and well made. I bought it for my truck camper and have used it for a multitude of other events too. I highly recommend.

Perfect gift choice.
My purchasing experience was quick, easy and efficient. I got an upgraded version of a tabletop grill by purchasing this item. It was a perfect choice as a Christmas gift for my 20yo grandson and his girlfriend. Plus. It was on a significant sale.

Expensive and crap
It worked good when we were cooking but when we put it away it started to disassemble meaning screws loosened fell out handles fell off I cut my finger on an edge waste of money and I won’t be using it again I do not recommend this item

Design not up to Coleman standards
Grate & lid design make lid latch difficult to get low enough to connect, have to really press lid down after adjusting the grates to proper location.
Side tray screws pulled out second time i tried lift from closed transport status.

The lid is hard to close...
Just bought and put it together and the lid was so hard to shut I'm scared it's going to pull up the grates when hot.. is this normal for the lid to so hard to shut? Giving a 3 star due to issue of the lid and I haven't used it yet..

Great price and durability
I have 2 of the x=cursion and 1 of the Sportster models. All 3 of these grills are used very heavily on our camping trips. Having actual travel grills have really spiced up my camping game. I would recommend these grills to anyone!

Directions could offer more detail on the water/drip pan. There was no direct information on its purpose and location. When we unpacked the grill it was dented. Like the overall appearance of the unit and the way it closes up.

Works great.

Grill grate broke after first use
We used the grill 2 days and one of the grates broke. This grill should be better made for the money. Also the drip pans are poorly made; one cut my finger open and also the thin metal edge rusted after rinsing them.

Acc&eacute;dez au plateau : assurez-vous que le gril est compl&egrave;tement refroidi avant de le manipuler. Faites glisser ou soulevez le plateau, selon la conception du mod&egrave;le.
