Rated 4 de 5 de par One of the best wedding presents! The 425 is the closest model to my 413H. We got the stove and a duel fuel double mantle latern for wedding present from a group of my high school buddies. BTW, I have a life long luck of getting models of products that are the models that are rare and cannot get parts. Still waiting for models that are rare and worth lots of money. While local shop replaced generator 12 years ago, I bought a Coleman propane stove; also a model no longer in production. And don't get in line with me in any stores neither! Propane has nice even heat on both burners and gets used more. Still more fun and nostalgic to run the white gas.

Rated 5 de 5 de par The best stove you can buy. There's a reason this stove has been going strong for more than 60 years, basically unchanged - it's tough, affordable, reliable, and easy to use, and naphtha is the most efficient and cost effective fuel you can use. Since joining the Canadian Armed Forces and using these stoves during all our exercises, winter and summer, for multiple purposes (heating tents and cooking) and then realizing that my dad and grandfather knew what they were up using these stoves for all those years camping and cooking at our cottage, I became the third generation in my family, at 33 years of age, to purchase one for camping weekends with my wife, 2 year old son, and the baby we're expecting this spring. I'm looking forward to another lifetime of cooking on a Coleman stove!

Rated 5 de 5 de par Well built, easy to use I bought this for camping. I was tired of using mini propane bottles and wanted a stove with economical fuel. This is fantastic. I took it out to test it. It's been a while since I've used naphtha. The instructions for assembly were easy to follow. I was able to lite it with no issues. I thought it would take me longer to figure out how prime it. I highly recommend Coleman stoves. They last a lifetime, and sometimes longer. I just wish it came with the fuel funnel. It was windy when I used it, and I was very thankful for the wind screens.

Rated 5 de 5 de par Best Portable Stove Ever My dad had one of these when I was a boy. It was great. You can buy gasoline anywhere. Gaz? Not many places. Forty years ago I bought one myself: took it everywhere - Red Sea coast, Sahara Desert, Palestine, Canada, USA, Russia... five years ago I bought another. It's the envy of all my neighbors who all want one too and half of them have gone ahead to buy their own. Wonderful product !!!

Rated 5 de 5 de par With minimal Proper care these are Long Lifed I have 2 Colman liquid fuel stoves 1 is 47 years old and the second is 35years old. By oiling the pump , and changing it them twice in all that time they still work great. The only other thing I did to them was touch up the paint where I let them get a spot of rust.

Rated 5 de 5 de par Thirty years old and stll going strong We bought ours in Brisbane Australia in the mid 1980s. Have used it extensively - many long sandy-salty camping trips on Barrier Reef islands. Plan to use it when camping at the Woodford Fdolk Festival in Queensland Australia this Xmas. It's rusty and soprt of falling apart, but still working fine - vastly better than gas. Want to get an up to date dual fuel version but it seems such are no longer stocked in Australia.

Rated 5 de 5 de par Best camp stove, better than propane. I have the vintage version of this stove and let me say, there's a reason they still make them. This stove is built like an armored truck and works wonderfully for cooking. One full tank of camping fuel (white gas) will cook many meals before needing filled again. These stoves fold to be the size of a suitcase so they're quite convenient for travel. They put out plenty enough heat, like comparable to a home gas stove, so you'll never have to worry about that. There's a bit of a trick to start one up, but once you do it, it becomes muscle memory (if not, there's labels on the equipment itself ). You will not regret owning one of these.

Rated 5 de 5 de par What was old is again new I bought a 425 stove at the factory store two or three years ago but have only used it twice. Why? Because this ORIGINAL 425 from the late 40s early 50s STILL works perfectly. When (if?) it wears out, I’ll start using the modern 425. Talk about longevity and reliability!

There are a few potential reasons for this issue:

Valve Blockage or Faulty Seal: The most common issue could be that the valve or the seal is not functioning properly. Even though you’ve cleaned the tip, the inside of the valve may still be clogged or the seal may be damaged, preventing fuel from flowing properly. You may want to inspect the valve thoroughly to see if any small debris is blocking the fuel flow.

Fuel Tube Obstruction: If the fuel is flowing fine when the rod is removed, but not through regular operation, it could suggest that there’s a partial obstruction in the fuel tube itself or the connection between the fuel tank and the stove is not sealing properly.

Pressure Issue: Even though the tank builds pressure, it could be that the pressure is not consistent or strong enough to push fuel through the valve. You can check the fuel cap to make sure it's sealing properly. Also, try increasing the pressure slowly to ensure that it isn't an overpressure or underpressure issue.

Corroded Parts: Over time, parts can corrode, especially when exposed to liquid fuel. If the rod or any other internal components are corroded, they could be hindering the fuel flow. Inspect those parts for any signs of wear and tear.

We suggest double-checking the valve for any small clogs or damage that could prevent fuel from flowing.

Check the fuel cap and ensure it is sealing properly to maintain pressure.

If none of the suggested mechanisms solve the issue, please reach out to us directly through our official website contact us form https://www.colemancanada.ca/support/contact-us.
