unsafe junk
bought this a few years ago to replace my old green Coleman that lasted more than 25 years because they had discontinued that model. Right away, I found that the design for lighting and ease of use were inferior. Five years later, the copper tube developed a leak where it was welded to the hookup, and became unusable and potentially dangerous as propane would build up inside the stove and ignite from the burner, causing a small explosion that would blow out the burner flame as well. I had to abandon my camping trip a few days early because I was scared to use the stove. It appears that the green stoves are again for sale as the Classic. I'd spend the extra money for that.

16 to 60
I purchased this to replace a two burner stove I’ve had when I was 16. Now I’m 60, so I know this new two burner Coleman stove will last another 44 years.

Gas leak long-term risk.
I was happy with this for a number of years. However, the copper gas tube cracked adjacent to the left burner, leaking gas into the interior - which would eventually ignite, or just drain the propane bottle, if lucky. Unbeknownst to me, the tubular bolt behind the left knob that secured the gas valve was loose or loosened. My assessment: the copper tube was acting as the knob rotation stop, flexing slightly each time the knob was turned to full on and full off. This work-hardened the copper and caused it to eventually crack and leak gas.

Excellent!!!!
I live in Puerto Rico and bought stove the week before it hit. No assembly needed, ready to go out of the box. I'm considering buying the dual fuel one since the small propane tanks are scarce.

I love the Triton Propane Stove
I read so many reviews about this and other propane stoves and I am glad I went with this one. It is easy to operate and clean. We use this for car camping and it doesn't take up much space and works great. Can't imagine camping without it.

Broken after 18 months
The connector that allows the propane to screw into the stove is broken, thus rendering it useless. Could get it repaired, but camping season will be over by the time we get it back (website says allow 4-6 weeks)

Good basic stove
Good stove with a few quality issues. I would like to see Coleman improve the valve design so that it is easier to obtain a lower flame. There are some easy fixes to this as you will see in other reviews, but Coleman should put some effort into better valve design.

Solid Stove for the Price
Great stove that works well and is of good quality for the price. Would prefer to have more precise needle gas valves for flame control. Would like to have a propane hose that fits a larger propane tank. More sustainable that using multiple mini canisters.

Very easy to use
I bought this for next year's camping, but wanted to make sure it worked out for me - I've never camped before. It was super easy to set up, and I cooked my first meal perfectly - don't tell anyone it was in my backyard :)

Coleman quality
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Quality stove, as expected! Different from my old 60's stove, but performs better. However, I can't store the propane tank inside the stove like in my old one.

Super handy in many situations
This stove is excellent for outdoor cooking when a gas grill is not quite enough. It also comes in handy for a power outage.

Great replacement for the old reliable green stove
My 25 year old reliable green basic Coleman stove finally died, so I needed a replacement. I was not satisfied with the quality of the new version of the green stove, so upgraded to this Triton Propane Stove. It went on its first camping trip last weekend, and our group just loved it! It really cooks quickly, and heats up pots of water very fast! Not sure how well it works with simmering, as we did not need to try that out, so I cannot comment on that area.

Very Simple, No-Frills, Effective Grill
Was here looking for the manual and decided to leave a review. I have used this grill for camping and love it because it's basic, no "frills" to break over time. Light it and go. Very stable, very sturdy. The only thing I have to mention in terms of "would be nice" are ability to clean under the stove top (grease et al can get down there) and more gradual flame control (didn't seem to have a way to do super low, but it's good enough). Love this grill!

worked great for about 2-3 months now broken
I have had a few other Coleman stoves in my life and one lasted for 10-12 years with heavy use. This one did not even last one year. One night ready to make some dinner out camping and the regulator arm won't screw on to the stove anymore. I spent an hour trying to trouble shoot and it could not be fixed. Now I finally figured it out after reading similar reviews

Propane Screw breaks very easily
I had this and just could use it once, aside of propane screw the rest of the product is good but it can breaks very easily on the propane connectivity and there is no way you can buy a part for it. I am so disappointed at least if the extra Coleman parts can be available for buying this issue can be resolved.

Black glossy finish shows fingerprints and dirt
Stove works great, but the black glossy finish shows fingerprints and dirt terribly. The coleman classic green stove has a textured finish and always looks great. Coleman please consider a black textured finish or keep the green or aluminum finish. For the price it shouldn't look so bad.

Don't purchase
It's nice looking but the temp control is not good at all. I've had this for a year and regret wasting my hard earned money on it. The temp control is high or higher. If you set to low, it goes out. Great for boiling water but other than that will burn your food.

DO NOT BUY. This stove is poorly built junk
This stove is poorly built junk. If you buy it thinking that you’ll get a quality Coleman stove that lasts for 20+ years you are solely mistaken. This appears to have been made to improve Coleman’s finances not yours.
