Good Tent but rain fly disintegrated and tore
We have used our Hampton tent for a season and love it. We use it as a guest room for our trailer. However, the rain fly has become brittle and rotten. It tore in the wind and Coleman does not sell the fly separately. There are numerous requests on the website, from people wanting to buy the rain fly separately, so I assume our situation is quite common. Basically the tent is useless (as it no longer is waterproof) without the fly and I'm not really prepared to purchase a new tent every few years no matter how much I like it. For now we have tarped the roof in order to try to prolong the life of the tent.

Absolute junk.
Coleman used to be a trusted brand, and after seeking to buy a tent after retiring my early 2000s four person tent, this thing is completely trash. As an outdoor professional, I was shocked at the material choice and overall quality of nylon chosen for this tent. Corner hanging joints were already coming apart from factory, zippers weren’t tracking, and the tent pole sleeves tore on first use.
Returned after literally 2 hours of purchase and first time set up in our backyard. Thank god I did a pre-trip inspection.
Coleman, Canadian families and outdoors enthusiasts deserve better, and you’re failing.

Durable, Spacious Tent: Great for Seasonal Camping

We bought this tent to expand our sleeping space for seasonal camping, purchasing it on clearance last fall. After setting it up two months ago, it has shown impressive durability, with no leaks or rips despite enduring heavy rain and strong winds near Lake Huron. The tent is very spacious, comfortably accommodating three cots, a table, and a dresser. The feature I appreciate most is the ability to walk around standing up inside the tent. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied with this purchase and would definitely buy it again.

Unreliable zipper with only 1 entrance/exit
We bought our tent last year and have only used it 5 times and yet the zipper for the door completely split and broke so had to hang the room divider sheet over the door for the nights. Made it quite difficult to camp with our 3 small kids and dog all sleeping in the same tent. We take care of our tents (and all Coleman products we buy”. We keep it clean and neatly folding back into the bag every use. Our last 2 Coleman tents before and they last usually at least 3-5 years and only got new ones when our family got bigger. The old one is still in good shape. I have included photos of tent and broken zipper

Leaks when it rains.
Just bought this tent for a camping trip with my 2 grandkids. I had an identical one to this tent but a different brand for 13 years and decided to buy a new tent for this year. Turned out to be a big mistake on my behalf because on the forth night of using it we had some rain and it started to leak under the windows as well as where the storage pockets are attached. When i woke up in the morning I came to find out that the zipper around the door was leaking as well and the amount of water in the tent was unreal. My other cabin tent I have has been through camping trips with 2 and 3 days of rain and only use to get a little bit of water seep through after a day or so of rain. I tried contacting customer support and still haven't heard back from them yet.

Holes in rain guard upon setting up for first time
Big tent, but setting up for the first time we noticed that there were four holes in the rain guard. I sent an email a week ago, haven’t heard back. I tried to submit a claim twice on the website and both times it says technical difficulties try again later. It’s past the return date for Canadian tire so I have to go through Coleman. It’s a lot of money for there to be manufacturing holes in it. Disappointed as we hoped this would last a few years for our family of 5.

Absolute disaster
Woke up during a rain fall in middle of the night to a majorly flooded tent with all belongings wet and destroyed. Had to wake my 6 year old daughter and wife to rush out of tent and go sleep in the truck. Trip was ruined as all Matresses and sheets were soaked. The rain fly is absolute garbage. Its as if it disintegrated in the rain and became non existent . This was our 4th time using the tent. Just spend the money and buy something better!
