It takes batteries, so it’s perfect for when the power goes out, and it is super bright on its highest setting! The low setting is perfect to conserve battery and to use when you don’t need much light. This is great to have at home just in case!

This lantern has come in very handy for both night fishing trips and a camping trip. I do wish it was rechargeable but we decided to just get rechargeable batteries and it has worked well for us. It is bright and lightweight which makes transport and carrying easy.

I love how the handle has a clip on it so you can hang it on a fence or chair but you can also set it on a table or the ground or whatever works best for you. I love how it has multiple light settings from super bright to dim and even has a setting that flashes which I think is a great extra feature! Coleman does it again and produces another great product. I would HIGHLY recommend this to just have around the house in case of emergencies or for use in your garage or on the back patio if you're trying to grill at night or to take camping. It's honestly a great product for almost any situation! I think it would also be great to keep in your vehicle so you have it in case of emergencies. The one and only downside for me is that it runs off D-cell batteries and is not rechargable via usb but still highly recommend.

The Coleman name really does carry well-made products and this one is no exception. I'm happy to have it and look forward to taking it up to the mountains, when we go camping.

The bright setting is great for lighting up your walking path. Medium setting is great for a table lamp. Low is wonderful for inside your tent. Very bright for a small lantern...and the light looks like a traditional wick light, pretty neat. Price for the value is just so-so. Without 50% off - I don't think it would have been a good value. Batteries are NOT included.
