Description
The 200 Lumens LED Mini Lantern with BatteryGuard™ stops battery drain so you'll have power when you need it most. Conventional lanterns experience residual power drain as long as batteries are connected to the circuit, even when the device is off. With BatteryGuard, batteries are automatically disengaged from the circuit when the lantern is turned off to extend their life by as much as 25%. It also reduces the chance of damaging corrosion so batteries can be stored in the device for years (up to their inherent shelf life). Additional features include a single on/off button, up to 15 hours runtime on 4 AA batteries (sold separately), water resistance, impact resistance up to 2 meters (on dirt), and lifetime LED bulbs that never need replacing. Fun lantern at a great price
Fun little lantern and it looks like im going to need to buy more as my kids both want one.The battery lock is very handy. The diffused lite core puts out just the right amount of light without being to harsh on the eyes. I also like the rubber gaurd on the handle that keeps it from clacking around. If there is a downside it is that there needs to be a sleeve that can go over the globe when not in use. Other than thst its a great addition to my camping gear at a great price.

Looks nice....but battery cover won’t close all the way....and 4 new batteries are stuck inside....battery cover will not engage the grooves so I can neither screw it open or screw it closed. The batteries were placed correctly. The box it came in was already opened so maybe somebody returned this lantern before. Useless piece of plastic. Send it back.

Nice Little Lights for the Price
I bought 3 of these little lights for the apartment when power goes out. I liked the price they were at and the fact that they have this ability to not let batteries corrode in the battery compartment. I am hoping that works out in the long run. Very nice little lights for the purposes I need them for.

Compact and efficient
I didn’t tried the bigger models but this one fits perfectly for early morning fisherman; not too bright as to be blinded, it makes the quick 4am breakfast easy

Great lantern for camping

The handle is too thin
I bought it for my son for camping. He didn’t like it for it’s not bright and the wire handle is not comfortable.
