Not what it used to be
We had a portable Coleman that we used for years with no problem. However, this new model is not up to par. The gas hooks on the bottom, which is awkward and it's impossible to see the flame...and the flame also makes a sputtering sound. It does not "grill" well either. Maybe we just got a lemon but we're ready to toss this and buy another brand.

Excellent product but!
This product met all of my expectations and surpassed them. The only problem is I wish I would have purchased the other model RoadTrip LX Grill which was about $15 dollars more. Though it is a little small, it is capable of doing many things that larger grills can do and yet much more efficiently due to its portability.

Rusting out water pan
I bought this grill less than a year ago. By the end of season, the water pan was rusting I have not been able to find a replacement for the water pan looking all over the internet.

Great grill for Road Trips.
I was really excited when I received my Road Trip 225 grill. 3 burners for lots of different cooking needs, Outside ring /2, inside burner for slow, low cook temperatures. The cast grills season up really nicely with a smart cooking surface. It has a ring pan that you put water in that catches pretty much all of the grease and drippings. 2 side wings that have usable space for pans, cookware, spices. The space on the grill is much larger that any other portable grill that I have seen. It packs up and rolls really easily. Cleaning is simple and easy, especially with the removable ring pan.
One last thing. Somehow after the first couple of uses I cross threaded where you connect the fuel tank. I contacted Coleman customer service. They were extremely helpfull with a solution that solved the issue!
Thank You Coleman.

Great price easy to use and will last
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this grill because I used to have one of the older table top versions but this road trip grill has worked out to be so great I bought the long propane line to be able to use a 20 pound canister and anytime we go anywhere and we are going to be there an extended amount of time the grill goes with us works great food is always good off of it could not ask for a better Camp grill

Handy, portable
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We use this grill for camping trips and for backyard grilling. It is useful and adequate. It is stable when placed upon reasonably level ground.
It does not heat evenly. It is a real pain to clean up. The pan under the heating burners rusts easily, and there is no fix for this. The knobs to control the gas, how much flame, are difficult to adjust.

Just Perfect!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We use this grill every Sunday during the Polo Season, both spring and fall! I love to grill almost anything so we always have a crowd ready to share the food. And everyone asks about the grill and we are more than ready to share how great it is! Come to the games and support the players and their horses and I will feed you too!

So many uses!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve found so many uses for this grill outside of camping. Both of my sons play sports and there is usually lousy food available at the snack bars so now we just pack a cooler of food and the grill and take it along with us. I feel like we’re saving money because we don’t have to go out and eat or chance snack bar food.

Dependable performance time and time again!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] my family had to make an un planned trip to Mayo hospital in Rochester Minnesota and rather than eating out at and rather than eating out at restaurants and fast food joints every night, we decided to bring on a road trip grill. Burgers and brats and a cold beer was what we needed to relax and take our mind off things.

Handle Broke, low is too hot.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The low setting on this is way too hot. It chars anything you cook way before the inside can be cooked. So stuff like brats that take longer to cook than a burger get burnt.
Also, the handle broke pretty easy so we cant even use it on the stand. We have to set it on a table.

Everywhere we go
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We take this grill along wherever we go. It is easy to transport. One thing that is a little annoying is that the handle does not latch as it should and it will come off and thus the grill will fall to the ground. If they could improve that, I would give them a 5 star reciew

Cheap
Still works but it’s not the quality I expect from Coleman. I clean after every use and it has been used lightly. Maybe once every few weeks. The paint has come off the drip/water tray... but more importantly holes that look as if they were drilled and filled have formed so now it won’t even hold water like it is supposed to.

Flat Grill replacement
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This grill is hard to handle for one person. It’s easy to turn the grill over if moving because it doesn’t lock the legs once set up. I’m still trying to figure out what the chain is for. I ordered a flat grill replacement, which would work great, but the cover won’t close.

Compact and cooks great
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We keep it in the storage compartment of our 5th wheel. It stores easily and cooks really well. With the griddle I can cook pancakes, eggs, and bacon all at once for me, my wife, 2 grandchildren and their mother. One small propane bottle will cook several meals. Love it.

Have for traveling, but made primary grille!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have this grill for traveling, and had a full size grill at our seasonal camp site. The wind destroyed our full size grill, so, we reverted to the Roadtrip. We used it on a regular basis most of the summer. Not even going to replace the full size. Love this grill!

Convenient
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was used at the lake. We put it on the pontoon boat, beached the pontoon, and put the grill on the beach to cook a hot delicious burger. After lunch we swam, then folded the grill, put it back on the boat, and went back to boating. Awesome!

solid grill but legs arent built well
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought it because I work on the road alot and its an awesome grill, solid built grill just had leg issues. The legs need to be built with durable metal. I customized the legs by adding a bolt through them to hold the feet in place.

Durable grill. Fragile stand.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The grill itself continues to perform well after over a year of use. The stand, however, snapped at the handle fairly easily upon opening one day. Ever since, have been forced to prop it up with another object to keep it level.

Not too shabby
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s great to take camping or even just to fire up at the house. The only problem we’ve had with it so far is the side tables. They slide under the grill but don’t stay there when the grill is folded up and being wheeled.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The grill was amazing when I first got it. Very portable, easy to clean and easy to use. Then I didn’t use it for 6 months and I have not been able to start is up again. Completely dead, even with a fresh propane tank.

Best Grill around
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I took my Grill Camping and it was the best idea I have had for camping. It was a rainy weekend and all the wood was soaking wet for the camp fire. So out came the Coleman Grill to save the weekend. Thanks Coleman...

Handy but not deep enough
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The grill worked great. Regulator works well. Heat is consistent. However lid is not tall enough. It's great for burgers or brats but a pile of wings or a Boston butt is out of the question.

Great price for multiple uses
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought it for weekend outings at the ball field, which worked perfectly. Then, my home grill went down. Being just a family of 3, this replaced it and proved there was no need for a BIG grill.
