A solid stove.
We initially bought this for a weekend camping excursion with family, as an additional unit to the ones that would be available via family that would be camping with RVs. We used just one burner for boiling milk and water and also for cooking up ramen noodles for the kids lunch. It holds regular sized pans and heats up liquids quickly. It also fits into our small car well and packs up tidily. The metal of the top lid seems a little bendable so we are careful not to stack heavy weight on top of the unit during transport and storage. So far, we are pleased with our purchase and look forward to taking it with us tent camping and cooking on it more intensively in the future, including testing out both burners at the same time.

Coleman dropped the ball
First off, I don't write reviews. I don't ask to speak to managers. If I can live with whatever issue a product has, I make do.
After too many seasons of not camping, we are planning a trip again, and since I'm old enough to remember Coleman being the "go-to" brand for all things camping, the obvious choice for a camping stove was one by Coleman. Didn't even consider the other ones out there. I picked up my first one from my local Canadian Tire and drove home to test it before the big trip. Did I mention I don't live close to any Canadian Tire? Anyways, the stove doesn't work. I borrow an old Coleman stove from a neighbour and isolate the problem, which turns out is the regulator assembly. No gas is getting through. Works beautifully with the neighbour's regulator. So the following day, I go to another CT store to exchange this unit, no issues. Store staff were great. I arrive at home with the new same model stove. I open the box. The left knob is bent, but I can live with it. If the lid had someone's initials carved into it, I could live with it, as long as it works! I connect the stove to fuel, only to find out the burners don't work! What are the odds! Gas is not getting through to the burners! Deja vu, or what? Back I go, now to the third Canadian Tire store where I've already scouted out that they carry a good stock of camping stoves of Coleman's competitor. Again, great staff at the store. Suffice to say, I'm now the proud owner of a camping stove, and it ain't a Coleman. This one sparked up like a dream in the parking lot of the store. Yes, I'd taken propane with me. Not getting burned a third time. Sorry Coleman, step up your game!

Versatile and efficient
this purchase was for home use in the event of a power outage. 2 weeks after delivery the power failed and supper was cooked quickly and the stove produced a very good full course supper, comparable to the household cooking stove.
A negative this 1st time in use was the inability to set a very low flame without the flame going out. This indicated that it would be difficult to cook something like eggs.
The 2nd opportunity was the power loss due to an ice storm.
Upon cleaning the stove I discovered that the perforated element on top of the burner was no screwed down tightly, that is, it was quite lose. Nothing in the minimal instructions to indicate that this element could be removed or was threaded on.
I tightened the element down and abbra cadabbra a low flame was achieved.
Note the burners have to be lit with a flame source, one that produces a flame some distance from the hand to avoid getting burned when lighting a burner. It is a manual light stove.
This stove is really sturdy, not a light weight. Do not place the stove on an easy flammable surface while in use.

Tricky stove to keep upright
I'm an avid camper and invested in a new coleman and purchased this one. The temp is quite difficult to regulate as you cook things; sometimes your only options are full blast flame or off. The arms that hold the lid upright are very flimsy and often just stirring your food as it cooks or wiping down the stove after is enough to release them, sending the stove falling backwards as the weight of the lid sends everything toppling. We use a coleman camp kitchen so the grill is on its own platform with no place for it to fall except into the ground.
Was cooking once and a breeze released an arm, sent the grill backwards (breeze didn't move the paper towel roll on the counter top though), sent food flying and the lid snapped off the grill. Had to re-rivet the lid back on with larger stronger rivets. Looked into sending it in under "warranty" but seems like we had to pay shipping? Overall flimsy grill, won't purchase again.

Well Made and Simple to Use!
Great overall. Temperature adjustment knobs were a little tight to open on first set up. Resisted some windy cooking days even at low temperatures without blowing out. I wouldn't bother paying extra for ignition systems that might fail in the future. Seemed to be fuel efficient for multiple meals on only 2 propane tanks.

We bought the Camp Stove 22 years ago and it very well. I&rsquo;m 84 years old and still enjoy the outdoors, but on 15 of June I used the stove but only the burner closet to the gas tank burned clean and the other burned with a yellow flame, please help me out.
