Description
Set up camp in a compact, yet spacious tent with the Coleman® Sundome® 4-Person Dark Room™ Tent. The Dark Room™ technology on this tent blocks 98% of sunlight to keep the tent darker if you want to sleep while the sun is up, and it also reduces how much the tent heats up during the day by up to 9.5%. If it rains, the WeatherTec™ system with its patented welded floors and inverted seams will help you stay dry. The compact dome shape stands up to wind, and you'll get extra weather protection from a door awning and an included rainfly. Setup is simple with snag-free, continuous pole sleeves. When it's time to head home, the tent easily packs up into an expandable carry bag with a rip strip until you're off on your next adventure.

Best tent ever
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having had many tents before I decided this time to spend the extra money for this one and I'm sure glad I did. The tent stays at least 10 degrees cooler which makes it nice after a long day of hiking where you can lay down for a break without baking before getting the fire going for dinner. The quality is far more superior and has outlasted some of my other tents after the first year. Looking forward to this years adventures not having to worry about the tent failing.

Quick and easy set up
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Tent worked great, although it is marketed as a four person tent, it is really a two person tent if you want to put in a bag or have a place to put anything other than lining up sleeping bags.
The darkening features were helpful to keep the hot sun somewhat diminished. We had extremely high winds (40 mph) and heavy rain the first night. The tent was waterproof. We did suffer a broken pole because of the high winds, but I attribute that to the weather more than the quality of the item. We still need to replace it, but not sure how to go about that.

Good tent..
I have this tent now.. I'm homeless in Boulder CO and it gets Cold up here.. it's already survived a foot of snow and -01° temp's...it lives up to it's name it's dark in there at night..

Great tent for us!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband and myself went camping with this new tent and it worked out very well for the 2 of us. We liked the room darkening feature very much. We would even like the option of making it darker yet somehow, if Coleman could design something like that we would be interested. We had a fair amount of rain during our camping trip and the tent didn't get a drop of water in it. We would recommend this tent.

Much better than I hoped for

I would recomend this tent to anyone who wants a good quality Camping experience.

Easy to use
I used this tent all summer including a 30 day road trip to the arctic circle where the sun never sets. It was easy to put up, did well in thunderstorms and wind. It will hold a queen size mattress, but that is the entire interior of the tent. There was plenty of room for me and my giant dog. I took it down about every 2 days and moved to my next location, and it held up well. I purchased longer tent pegs and the little ones included in the package did work well for the ground type there. The door zipper gets caught if you aren't careful, but overall I was very happy with it. One of the tent poles broke in a windstorm last week. I hope to find a replacement so I can continue to use the tent.

Affordable and Dark !!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this tent. we use it for our family of 4 and 3 dogs, i will not lie that makes for a tight fit but we always use another tent for dressing and storage so this works for us. I love it because i have issues with sleeping and the light always wakes me . this Tent is dark and i love it ! Very easy to put up it really only takes one person.

Bought this tent for a campground wedding, and I wasn't going to use the fly cause I like a little light, and being able to see the sky at night, but then one day had rain in the forecast, and it POURED. The inside stayed completely dry, no amount of wind and rain made the inside even slightly damp. It was extremely easy to set up for this single woman, and fit my air mattress, suitcase, and dog quite comfortably.

Great quality tent.

I definitely like the quality of this tent - the materials felt solid, and the seams looked very strong. Setup was very easy. The storage pockets on the inside were also very handy. I would definitely recommend this tent!

Very nice tent! Affordable price.

She loves camping outside, so we have moved on to a bigger tent, but this is perfect for a beginner.

Dark Room 4 person one of the best!

Great for weekend Camping!
Coleman sent me this tent as a warranty replacement for my 4 person Skydome tent. The sundome is a better tent in my opinion. The tent holds up better in high winds. I used the tent for roughly 4 months straight in summer and fall months. The factory poles aren't very strong and split from high winds. I ordered aftermarket replacement aluminum poles to replace the broken fiberglass poles. The dark feature is very nice. The tent stays cooler and you get better sleep. After the 4 month of being set up the sun does bleach the dark color on the tent and it did split the fabric in a few spots. Overall the tent has plenty of room and is nice and dark. I would reccomend this tent for someone camping on short weekend getaways. If the tent tent is setup for long periods it needs to be protected from the sun.
