Cooler
The product description says that it has a drain spout, but it does not. I called customer service and they made it right. It’s a good cooler if someone didn’t want a drain spout.

Great cooler but..
Love the cooler! Works great for a project I do. Only reason I can't give it 5 stars is it doesn't come with a drain plug and I have to purchase and put in separately.

Basic cooler
Same cooler as a cooler I’ve had for 25 years. No design changes except one. This one doesn’t have a drain plug. Flat spot in the mold for it, just no plug.

The Ultimate Chill Companion!
I recently took the Coleman Chiller Cooler 48QT 5248 Ocean on a week-long camping trip, and it completely exceeded my expectations. First, the capacity is just right—it comfortably fit all our drinks, snacks, and even some prepped meals for a family of four. The interior layout makes it easy to organize cans, bottles, and ice packs without feeling cramped.
What really impressed me was its cooling performance. Even in warm weather, the ice lasted for more than two days, and the insulation kept everything refreshingly cold. The lid seals tightly, preventing any unwanted leaks or heat from creeping in. Plus, the build feels sturdy, and the handle design makes it easy to carry, even when it’s fully loaded.
I also love the vibrant ocean-blue color—it’s easy to spot among all our gear, and it just gives off a fun, summer vibe. Cleaning it after the trip was effortless; a simple rinse and wipe-down were enough to get it ready for the next adventure.
Overall, this cooler is a reliable, practical, and stylish companion for camping, beach trips, and backyard barbecues. Highly recommended for anyone who wants hassle-free chilling power.

Not my dad’s coolers
Cooler is fine. I am somewhat dismayed at the lack of a drain plug and it being four pounds lighter than my previous 48 quart coolers that they replaced.

I love the color, and it kept my frozen items frozen all day and overnight. However, I used it once and one of the handles broke off 😭

Nice cooler, but.
Would have rated 5 stars if lid would stay up when loading or unloading. Very inconvenient.
