The WeatherTec™ system's tub-like floor, welded corners, waterproof 3,000mm waterhead fabric, and inverted seams and taped seams on rainfly and tent body help keep water from getting in; strong frame has been tested to withstand up to 56 km/h (35 mph) winds. Pole design is unforgivable
I used the tent once. A bungee cord in a pole broke. Coleman warranty service graciously offered to SHIP ME A NEW TENT! No, I’m not throwing 30 pounds of plastic in the garbage. I decided to try and repair the pole myself, when I discovered why they did not offer to send me a new pole. The poles are intentionally designed to be unrepairable. The ends are glued in place so you cannot rerun a bungee cord through it. It’s such a terrible design that there is no way it was done unintentionally. It must be planned obsolescence and my poles happened to be a little too sharp to allow the tent to last until the warranty expired. I managed to figure out a jury rig way to put the pole back together, but I’m never buying another Coleman tent.
On the upside, it’s gigantic and the dark room feature worworks well. Set up and take down is pretty easy although with its height and size it’s hard to reach the top. It’s a bit difficult to stuff back in the bag.

Amazing black outness, but some downsides
It's a great tent.. Not the easiest to set up - I think we prioritized black out over pop up, which was maybe a mistake. Did get easier when we did it the second time. Black out technology is pretty amazing. it was pitch black!! The sides are all mesh so quite a bit of air flow happens at night - got pretty cold, but it was a particularly cold weekend so I'm not sure if other tents would have kept more cold air out..

Would not recommend
I purchased the tent to take my autistic son camping. When we first set it up, one of the poles was broken and then were the poles attached to the front was also ripped. It was still useable so we continued on with our trip except for the fact on the first night going out of the tent I tripped on the poles that should have been attached as they had shifted resulting in me tripping and getting a broken arm. So not only do I have a useless tent. I suffered a severe injury because of it.

The ultimate tent for the prime camper
The skydome tent 10p was an amazing tent to add to my camping arsenal. It’s portable, light weight and easy to assemble. It’s got a great design that others have lacked for making sure it’s dry but breathable enough when required. The materials have been robust and have had no issues with tears. With its size it makes it comfortable to move around in and keep things dry and out of the elements. For anyone looking for a bigger tent, I would highly recommend!

Fantastic tent!

I have a larger family that likes to go camping here and there so I struggle to put it tents and this one is a winner in my book. It was so easy to set up and to take down and put away. It is very spacious and I am able to fit a fair amount of stuff in it. I like that’s it’s dark. I personally have to sleep somewhere that’s dark with no light including the moon and this is a winner!

Another leaky coleman tent
I got this brand new as a replacement for a leaky coleman tent. It is big and relatively easy to set up (not 5 minutes). We had rain the first night and all corners leaked. I had to use my clothes to stop the water from pooling and running into our bedding, etc. I am not sure why these tents are so leaky when it should stop water from coming inside as it is a tent. I never had this problem with any other tents.

Cheap quality for the price
Massive tent. Cheap quality clips, one broke first time putting up. Attached poles are terribly annoying. Quick setup, big doors. More tent than i need but 8 person tent doesnt come with e port option, odd that its offered on the 6 and 10 person but not the 8. I would love this tent but the cheap quality clips put a damper on it. If you buy this be extra gentle with them

DARK but fragile
Great space and the darkroom technology REALLY works! My one gripe is that the material seems to be very fragile. I moved one bulkier item through the entry and, although I barely touched the thing, it pushed a hole straight through next to the opening…. Duct tape has a temporary fix but I was a bit disappointed and concerned for its length of life going forward

Great tent!

It’s very easy to put up and even easier to take down. I love how dark it is because it keeps t to he sun/heat out. I love how spacious it is even with air mattresses inside.

Weekend camping

Doesn’t feel like you’re staying in a tent
The Coleman Skydome 10 person tent is very portable with great ventilation. The construction thought and process was very well thought out. The is almost like it was designed for every type of weather. It’s warm in the fall and winter and cool during the spring. I can’t wait to use it this summer. It’s easy to put up also

Dark Rom Technology and Weather Tec system
The tent is very spacious and Dark Room Technology is great. Unfortunately, some of the areas of the dark room technology had scratches in them and there are few patches on the floor of the tent that look like they will not last long. This was the first time using the tent it leaked the first night it rained.

camping makes easier with this! I love how this tent protects us from bugs and flies. my baby sleeps well inside whenever we go camping for two nights in the forest, this is also reliable and comfortable for a family of three. the space is great! you can bring it anywhere with you or place it in the trunk!

This is a very large tent.

Not fully blackout 😢
Love the size and roominess. But unfortunately it’s not total black out. The edges of the floor let in light and the rain fly doesn’t fully cover the front door area so a lot of light comes through the top the the door. Such a bummer.

Temu quality at a premium price
We Bought this tent at Cosco to get into camping again after a long hiatus of using air bnb's for vacations. This tent is worst one I've ever owned, it had quality issues straight out of the box; one on the clips that secure the fly to the tent base was never installed on the buggy.
The one pro is that its very big and sturdy when set up but that is overshadowed with all the issues we had with it; let's start with the zipper to get in, they sewed the overlay fabric for rain too close so it always get snagged; getting in and out of the tent was a frustrating endeavor every time. My 6 year old couldn't even open or close this tent, she had to squeeze out of the bottom. But that's not even the worst part; after only 2 night with no wind and no rain this tent literally fell apart when we were packing it up which rendered it un-usable and useles.
One of the pole says broke off the plastic, and one of the feet broke in half.
I'm actually speechless, we have another more camping booked in 2 weeks but both NEW Coleman products we bought broke (Coleman screen tent broke on set-up).

Amazing tent
Amazing tent, feels very durable. The windows allow you to look outside whenever you’d like. And the poles it comes with are very well built. The space inside is amazing, never seen a tent this roomy.
